remember to check the updates on these online flight manuals.
i notice the ec120 for example is WELL out of date , it is now up to revision 14 with changes to the start procedure to those set out in the online manual. as with everything they can be a guide but it is always best to purchase a manual directly from the OEM supplier and subscribe to the amendments service _________________ R22, H269, R44, B206, EC120, AS350,

I'm 100% or more agree with you, it's for this reason the owner of website says : Les manuels de vol (AFM) ne remplacent en aucun cas les originaux à utiliser avec les machines que l'utilisateur est amené à voler.
means: these flight manuals don't supersede the original ones coming from helicopter which the user will use.

Good point nh. They were mainly needed for reference so I could revise emergencies etc. Can you actually buy the latest AFM for any helicopter? They are not just available to A/C owners? Are they expensive?

Are you still looking for the 300CBi Manual for preflight checklists and/or emergency procedures? I have my Bristow Academy pre/post flight checklists and the 300CBi manual, I forgot to mention I actually had it with me last weekend.
Ah, perfect.. they're difficult to get a copy of from what I hear, but they seemed to be floating around B/A. Apparently they're not the genuine article as far as official goes.. Mine is not entirely the genuine article because it says at the bottom corner of each page:
"For Information Purposes Only". Inside the main cover/front page, it says:
-- WARNING --
This Schweizer 300CB/CBi Information Manual may be used for general information purposes only.
It is not kept current, and therefore cannot be used as a substitute for the official FAA Approved Pilot's Flight Manual intended for operation of the aircraft.
If this IS the case, what should one do to get the accurate, genuine manual - are they sourced by the FAA or are they only provided to owners of the aircraft?
