Please can sombody please please help me i got the chance of a R44 its a 1998 done 1450 hours on both airframe and engine its run out of its 12 year general revision can someone please tell me what a 12 year revision costs and whats involved apperantley its just had this done to it performed by a specialized company a complete check over all groups and components, replacing:
filters, plugs, gaskets, bearings, trim engines, governor controller, magnets, rotor-head berings and more.
The engine compression is perfect, it has been completely repainted in 2009, the last renewal of the CN back to 2010. All documentation is available, the helicopter has UK marks and is listed in the UK registed

An R22 12 year overhaul is about £70k so I guess an R44 one would be at least £130k

Best to call up a few places that can do the 12 year overhaul and get a quote as if you wanted it done yourself.
