You need to save/upload them to somewhere like Photobucket and the copy and past the [IMG] link into your post.

Good idea.
It's always good to be able to put a face to the name.
More chance of being recognised which will help when networking.
Personally, i'm afraid of breaking the camera. _________________ PPL(H) Student: R22

Hey Paddywak,
Yep on the R22 flying out of EGBE.
i think i'm getting on ok, i'm getting in roughy 2 lessons a month.
My instructor says that i've just about cracked the hover after 1 hour so am quite chuffed with that and even threw in a landing and a takeoff for good measure. the straight and level, up and down, left and right seem to be going well also.
overall i think it's just about getting confidence in sitting in an aluminium bubble with an engine powering 2 bits of wood on top pounding the air into submission. hehe
Trying to get me head into Airlaw in my spare time so i can get ready for going solo (which is quite a scary thought) and also trying to make some sense of RT, which is like learning another language.
Planning on going on to do the CPL(H) afterwards so trying to take in as much as possible now so that i've got a good base to go on from.
What about you? how's your training going? _________________ PPL(H) Student: R22

| Thats brilliant Perko, hovering in one hour, you must be a natural. We are in the same boat , I'm taking mock air law papers at the mo and a bit of RT with the instructors when flying and when on the ground too. I've found the pooleys stuff good! I did my first circuits yesterday, went ok but I have to react a bit quicker with the collective when going through translational lift ( trying to stay out of that shaded area in the HV diagram) . Safe flying mate! |
